DraftKings runs Tiers for NHL and this repo shipped a config for MLB and the NBA only, so an NHL tiers export had nowhere to land: ``is_valid_triple`` rejects the triple and the admin UI cannot offer it. 'Lineups must consist of one player from each Tier and must include players representing at least 2 different NHL games.' Note GAMES, not teams - the same distinction that split the gridiron Classic configs - so min_games is 2. SIX tier slots is a convention, not a rule: the operator says 'The number of Tiers may vary based on the Game Set', and the importer reads the actual count from the export's Roster Position column (T1..T9). Six mirrors mlb/draftkings/tiers.json and nba/draftkings/tiers.json, which is what every tiers board this repo has seen actually carried. No salary cap: a tiers contest prices nothing, the constraint is one pick per tier.","site":"draftkings","sport":"nhl","slate_type":"tiers","salary_cap":null,"roster_slots":[{"name":"T1","eligible_tier":"T1"},{"name":"T2","eligible_tier":"T2"},{"name":"T3","eligible_tier":"T3"},{"name":"T4","eligible_tier":"T4"},{"name":"T5","eligible_tier":"T5"},{"name":"T6","eligible_tier":"T6"},{"name":"T7","eligible_tier":"T7"},{"name":"T8","eligible_tier":"T8"}],"min_teams":2,"min_games":2,"scoring":{"goal":8.5,"assist":5.0,"shot_on_goal":1.5,"blocked_shot":1.3,"short_handed_pt":2.0,"shootout_goal":1.5,"hat_trick":3.0,"goalie_win":6.0,"goalie_save":0.7,"goalie_goal_allowed":-3.5,"goalie_shutout":4.0,"goalie_ot_loss":2.0,"shots_5plus_bonus":3.0,"blocks_3plus_bonus":3.0,"points_3plus_bonus":3.0,"goalie_saves_35plus_bonus":3.0},"export_format":{"header":["T1","T2","T3","T4","T5","T6","T7","T8"],"id_format":"{name} ({site_player_id})"}},"locked_at":"2026-10-28T02:30:00Z","first_game_start":"2026-10-27T23:00:00Z","last_game_start":"2026-10-28T02:30:00Z","late_swap_enabled":true,"display_name":null,"is_free":false,"group_key":"c8382940cdf73a85","group_slate_type":"tiers","projection_window":null}
